Gravitas Dinkey Tungsten Machined

The fountain pen is small, portable, and handy, placing emphasis on the material from which it is made. It showcases a unique range of materials that, up until now, have not been offered in the Gravitas lineup.

The Tungsten alloy used in the Dinkey includes copper, offering excellent thermal conductivity and plasticity. The “Machine Finish” refers to the pen being left as it is straight from the lathe, without undergoing polishing, which gives it a shiny, copper-colored appearance. If polished, the pen takes on a satin grey texture, as the copper content is subdued, allowing the tungsten’s grey tone to emerge more prominently. (*Polishing this tungsten alloy results in a satin grey finish, while leaving it unpolished maintains a shiny, copper-like appearance straight from the machine.)

The Dinkey’s inner cap is lined with Delrin to prevent scratches when posting. Its section is made from copper and features an o-ring at the threading point with the barrel.
